One of the cool features that Adobe AIR provides is the ability to drag & drop from the desktop to your AIR application and from your AIR application to the desktop. You can also drag and drop between application windows. Next Tuesday I'll show you how it's done. Here are some of the things I'll cover:

• Dragging an image file from the desktop into an AIR app and displaying the image
• Dragging an image from the AIR app to the desktop
• Drag & drop a file into an AIR app and display it's contents
• Drag & drop a file into an AIR app and copy it to a different directory using the FileSystem API
• Drag & drop out of an AIR app to save a file locally
• Drag & drop between other application windows.
• Other FileSystem API basics
• Working with native windows in AIR (time permitting)
